Job Summary
Geisinger ConvenientCare Kingston urgent care clinic qualifies for a $10k new hire incentive. This busy clinic is an seeking experienced an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.
Job Duties
ConvenientCare clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections, and more. They also provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services. Services at some clinics may also include x-ray, EKG, IV hydration, and phlebotomy.
Shifts are 10 and 11 hours (typically seven shifts in two weeks). Great work/life balance with only working 3-4 days a week.
The ideal Geisinger Convenient Care candidates will:
Take responsibility and ownership of their site
Possess strong interpersonal skills
Be self-motivated
Have excellent prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities
Have urgent care experience and the ability to perform procedures such as suturing and splinting
EXPERIENCE:
Advanced practitioners must have at least six months of Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Critical Care advanced practice professional experience and the ability to treat patients age one and older.

Recruitment incentive - $10,000, paid in lump sum upon start. 2-year work obligation with department
Continuing Medical Education – 10 working days, based on 8 hours, and $3,000 annually
