Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Dermatology
Geisinger Dermatology is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our growing team at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown, PA.
This position will perform, under the responsibility and in collaboration with the physician, diagnostic, therapeutic and procedural tasks in an advanced practice role. Provides direct care including assessing, diagnosing, planning and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of skin problems, health promotion, education and preventive care within the scope of Dermatology practice. Provides comprehensive clinical coordination of care. Reports directly to Dermatology operations director.
This advanced practitioner will provide Dermatologic care at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital Lemed Building working collaboratively via telehealth with the regional Dermatology team in the Danville. This position will be full time, boasting a 4 day (10 hour day) weekly schedule. Dermatology experience preferred but not required.
