Job Summary

CommunityCare Kistler's ExpressCare urgent care clinic, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This clinic site qualifies for $50,000 NHSC Loan Repayment Program* in addition to the $10k recruitment incentive for new hires. Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but required.

Job Duties

The CommunityCare Kistler clinic qualifies for the *NHSC Loan Repayment Program which is the National Health Service Corps http://https://nhsc.hrsa.gov/loan-repayment/nhsc-loan-repayment-program which is up to $50,000 for a two-year initial term.

ExpressCare urgent care clinics allow our patients to 'save their spot' to avoid wait times and check in online. The clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. They also provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services. Some clinics may also include X-ray, EKG, IV hydration, and phlebotomy. Advanced Practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one to adults.

Advanced Practitioners receive the following benefits:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care or critical care experience is preferred. A new graduate advanced practitioner graduate will be considered.  

Work Schedule:

Rotations of weekends and some holidays required (Work 7 out of 14 days)​

The ideal ExpressCare candidates will:

Take responsibility and ownership of their site.Possess strong interpersonal skills.Be self-motivated. Have excellent prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities Have urgent care experience and the ability perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.

Education

Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)

Certification(s) and License(s)

Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
