Geisinger, a nationally recognized leader in innovation and quality care, is seeking a general Gastroenterologist and/or an Assistant Director, Division of Gastroenterology, to join our team!
Job Duties
As a result of continued growth in our market, we are currently recruiting BC/BE General Gastroenterologists or Gastroenterologists with management experience to join our team within the eastern region of Geisinger’s service area.
This assistant director position would include oversight and leadership of a 12-physician practice which services two hospitals (Geisinger Wyoming Valley and Geisinger Community Medical Center), two multi-specialty clinic spaces, and a new state of the art ambulatory surgical center. The Associate Director will work with current leadership in the eastern region along with system leadership to further the growth and strategic objectives of the Division of Gastroenterology.

- Work closely with mature multi-disciplinary teams; including Hepatitis C and Inflammatory Bowel Disease with imbedded pharmacists on each.
