Job Summary

Responsible for development, review and maintenance of contracts. Identifies issues and risks in contract development.

Job Duties

  • Reviews initial contract submitted for accuracy, acceptable language and terms.

  • Reviews documents for changes including all current agreements and internal policies and procedures.

  • Assesses compliance with current law and utilizes legal resources to assure regulatory and accreditation requirements are met.

  • Assumes responsibility to prepare contract documents as requested and ensures that such documents contain complete and accurate terms and conditions of a business relationship including compliance with current law, regulation and accreditation standards.

  • Notifies team leadership of identified problems or revisions needed with contract terms and participates in activities to ensure compliance.

  • Coordinates gathering and assembling of documentation for key controls and uploading results electronically in an accessible data management system.

  • Reviews any adverse results with team leadership.

  • Coordinates data and performs ongoing maintenance of contract application in a data management system. Assists in the training and problem-solving in the application.

  • Creates and performs quality control audits of contract rates and terms. Coordinates and supports ongoing data compilation and analysis for service area expansion.

  • Assists with the maintenance of numerous contract templates, generic model documents to be utilized as the initial boiler template for the generation of commonly requested agreements.

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of contract department desk procedures.

Position Details

*Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).
