Culture

Caring is our purpose and at the heart of our culture. Our nurses treat each other with respect and compassion, embrace diversity and take time to connect and listen. By routinely seeking employee feedback, we’ve been able to build new programs and improve on existing processes. In fact, we launch new programs every year as a direct result of this feedback. Here are just a few of the ways we’re doing more to care for you and each other:

Geisinger offers big city medicine in a rural setting. I’ve worked in big metropolitan hospitals, and our setting is very unique. We offer the best in cutting-edge medicine, but with an approach that brings in rural qualities of calmness and caring.
