Research
The Department’s faculty and staff actively collaborate with over 50 faculty investigators in multiple clinical departments on a wide range of scientific projects. Major research programs include the Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI), Neuroscience Institute, and the Center for Pharmacy Innovation and Outcomes Research (CPIO).

Education
The Department’s commitment to providing world-class mental health care to our communities begins with addressing the shortage of mental health care providers in the areas we serve. Our integration with the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine offers the opportunity to teach and support medical students, interns and fellows.
Additional training programs exist for Post-Doctoral Fellows in Adult Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychology and Neuropsychology. Additionally, the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health oversees a training program for Psychology Interns with opportunities in Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychology
