Geisinger SkillBridge Program
Job Summary
The DoD SkillBridge program allows eligible service members to complete hands on civilian training during their final 180 days of active-duty service. Participants join Geisinger on a permissive temporary duty assignment, gaining valuable experience that supports career transition while contributing to work that improves lives and strengthens communities. The DoD SkillBridge program is open to service members of all ranks, both enlisted and officer. While participating in SkillBridge, individuals remain on active duty, continue to receive military compensation, and retain full military benefits. Participation is mission dependent, and approval must be granted by the service member’s unit Commander before any SkillBridge agreement is established with Geisinger.
