Job Summary
Performs clerical office functions such as mail duties, filing, copying, and other general office procedures.
Job Duties
- Opens, sorts, date stamps, and distributes incoming mail.
- Maintains daily statistics on mail volumes, including daily claims counts.
- Maintains general office supply inventory and orders supplies as necessary.
- Prepares claims daily for shipment to external vendor.
- Reconciles daily claims returned from external vendor.
- Delivers mail to employees Utilizes the softwaresystem to program claims for accurate delivery.
- Prepares claims and membership applications for scanning.
- Routes and programs returned address change cards as well as any other return mail before batching and sending to vendor for scanning.
- Orders supplies, handles report sorts, problem logs and other department mailings.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Provides assistance with training when needed.
- Meets and maintains department standards.
- Performs departmental mailings of materials.
- Performs departmental mailings of enrollment packets, including face sheets, riders, member handbooks, labeling packets, etc.
- Performs benefit comparison look-ups in the softwaresystem to determine the materials to include in renewal packets.
- Receives and puts away all stock.
- Updates cost savings spreadsheet.
- Routes and programs returned address change cards as well as any other return mail before batching and sending to vendor for scanning.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Provides assistance with training when needed.
- Meets and maintains department standards.
