Manager Clinical Quality - RN - Hematology/Oncology
Job Summary
Oversees and directs clinical quality within the Institute. Serves as a system-wide manager for coordination, managerial oversight and other support as required to further our mission related to clinical quality and performance improvement . Utilizes background in clinical applications, EPIC, and national registries to bring this knowledge to the design and optimization of care processes, patient experience and clinical outcome. Requires serving as a clinical expert, educator, consultant and a liaison for health care providers and administration for all forms of quality initiatives.
Job Duties
- Directly manages quality staff. Handles all employee relations activities.
- Facilitates active engagement and communication with department staff via formal meetings and informal interactions.
- Ensures that data is available for use in innovation initiatives to improve quality and operational enhancements, as well as regular presentation to the service line leadership team to ensure services are operating at optimal quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Accountable for analyzing, developing, organizing, and directing system resources to realize strategic targets.
- Oversees efforts of concurrent and retrospective national registry database.
- Works to implement process changes to data collection moving from a retrospective collection to real time data collection.
- Communicates with all staff to integrate service specific findings and is the key facilitator to ensure efficient, accurate and validated data from operational personnel.
- Focuses on accountability for accurate, timely and complete data reporting.
- Participates in research and prevention programs.
- Coordinates accreditation activities through campus administrator to ensure accreditation guidelines are maintained and committee meetings are held.

Position Details
Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:00a-4:30p
Travel: less than 50%- travel to other sites
License: Registered Nurse license is required
Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN)required; Master's Degree Nursing (MSN) is strongly preferred
