Manager Executive Recruitment and Retention
Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring process of executive-level positions and ensuring the retention of high-performing leaders. This role requires a strategic approach to identifying, attracting, and retaining talented leaders who align with the company’s culture and long-term goals. This role also involves ensuring a smooth onboarding process and creating development and retention programs to maintain a high level of executive engagement. This role is crucial for the organization as it directly impacts the quality of leadership and the overall performance of the company. The Manager Executive Recruitment and Retention must be adept at balancing the immediate needs of filling executive roles with the long-term vision of maintaining a stable and skilled leadership team through successful retention programs. This role will inform the leadership development culture of Geisinger Executive workforce in collaboration with the Organizational Development & Leadership team. Utilizing succession methodology, this role will help foster internal career development for high potential leaders while effectively blending external hires to continuously improve Geisinger culture and business.
Job Duties
- Leads the team responsible for enhancing executive recruitment and retention within Geisinger Health. Also partners with key stakeholders across HR for joint support of efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies for recruiting executives, including sourcing methods, interviewing techniques, and selection processes.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for executive roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Work closely with senior executive management to understand leadership needs and define role requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for executive positions, from job posting to onboarding.
- Design and execute retention programs aimed at maintaining a motivated and engaged workforce.
- Analyze turnover data and employee feedback to identify trends and develop targeted retention solutions.
- Collaborate with HR Recruitment, Relationship Management and other departments to align recruitment and retention strategies with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior executive leadership, HR leadership and OD&L Leader to understand the organization’s executive talent needs and succession planning.
- Drive equity, diversity and inclusion strategies to bring in the best-in-class talent that comes with improved diversity in a workforce.
- Design and implement retention strategies that align with the organization’s culture and values.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction at the executive level.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to executive recruitment and employment.

Education
Bachelor's Degree- (Required), Master's Degree- (Preferred)Experience
