Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking an additional full time neurohospitalist to join its coverage team based at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. A stroke fellowship is preferred, but not required.

Job Duties

Full time neuro-hospitalist

The neurohospitalist team manages a neurology consult service at GMC supported by advanced practitioners and residents.  There is system wide telestroke and nighttime teleneurology coverage from the Geisinger system. This a shift work position with no nighttime call.

There is a robust video-EEG monitoring program, with remote reading from the Geisinger system. There is local support from neurology’s on-site multispecialty outpatient group.

There is a competitive salary and opportunities for in-person and telemedicine moonlighting opportunities across the campus.
