Onsite Neuroradiologist | 1 Week On / 1 Week Off
Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist to join our established onsite academic neuroradiology practice at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers a true 1-week-on/1-week-off schedule, Monday-Friday. When you are off, you are truly off, with no clinical responsibilities, call obligations, or remote reading requirements during your scheduled off time.
Job Duties
Opportunity Highlights
1 week on / 1 week off onsite schedule, Monday-Friday
Work approximately 26 weeks per year
Fully protected off weeks with no clinical, call, or remote-reading responsibilities
100% onsite subspecialty neuroradiology practice
Clinical Practice
Focused adult and pediatric neuroradiology practice
Interpret brain, spine, and head and neck MRI and CT examinations
Provide stroke imaging and advanced neuroimaging interpretation
Support a comprehensive stroke center
Onsite practice model supporting real-time consultation and multidisciplinary care
Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and stroke teams
Technology and Academic Opportunities
Advanced neuroimaging tools, including functional MRI (fMRI) and Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI)
Dedicated 3D lab support
Epic electronic medical record
Teaching, scholarly activity, and academic appointment opportunities through Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
Position Details
Compensation and Benefits
$140,000 starting bonus
Starting salary of $525,000, commensurate with experience
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage from day one
401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) retirement plans
Malpractice coverage with tail coverage provided
Relocation assistance
15 days and $4,500 annual CME allowance
Qualifications
Fellowship-trained in Neuroradiology with an interest in onsite, collaborative practice
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
Commitment to high-quality patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration
Education
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)Certification(s) and License(s)
