Relocation Coordinator
Job Summary
Supports Internationally Educated Nurses and their families upon initial relocation. This position requires travel to cities surrounding the Geisinger footprint. The Community Liaison will be an ambassador to the area and help the nurse and their family settle into the community.
Job Duties
- Provides a warm and caring welcome to enhance the new employee experience
- Meets nurses and their families at the airport and drive them to their temporary housing
- Assists with day-one activities including but not limited to: hotel check in, hotel navigation, purchasing food and other essentials, etc.
- Provides driving tour of the hospital campus and surrounding areas
- Provides transportation, orientation and assistance with the following services: pre-employment appointments, grocery store, Social Security Office, driver’s license center, bank, cell phone provider, housing, schools, place of worship and other needs as identified
- Responds toinquiries about local attractions, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- Ensures cleanliness of vehicle
- Has a high level of awareness related to the safety and security of passengers and other drivers
- Possess excellent knowledge of routes within the main area of operation and high level of flexibility, reliability and personal organization
- Reports all suggestions or recommendations to Administrative Team Coordinator in a timely manner as well as implements service recovery directly with nurse at time of concern

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)Experience
Minimum of 2 years-Related work experience (Required), Minimum of 2 years-Customer Service (Required)Certification(s) and License(s)
