Supervisor Plumbing- Full Time/Days
Job Summary
Supervises section personnel and oversees the installation, maintenance and repair of gas and vacuum lines, domestic water piping, steam piping, sanitary and storm drainage systems, associated equipment and plumbing fixtures.
Job Duties
- Supervises section personnel.
- Assigns work.
- Inspects completed work to assure compliance with codes and established practices.
- Acts as resource for section personnel.
- Provides information concerning policy or procedure changes.
- Promotes safety.
- Conducts training.
- Completes performance evaluations and handles disciplinary actions.
- Tracks daily budget activities.
- Provides input regarding capital equipment and renovations.
- Coordinates staffing and scheduling to meet departmental needs.
- Interviews candidates and makes hiring recommendations.
- Works with Manager, Facilities Operations in planning and coordinating responsibilities of plumbing section.
- Prepares estimates of labor and materials for projects and jobs.
- Reviews completed work orders.
- Maintains records of assignments, including time expended and type of work involved.
- Completes reports.
- Maintains inventory of tools and equipment.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)Experience
