Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Pulmonary Sleep Medicine Geisinger Jersey Shore
Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 1-2 years of Advance Practice experience interested in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine to provide comprehensive assessment and care delivery while demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expert skills in the diagnosis and management of patients.
Job Duties
At a Glance:
- Practice 50% Pulmonary and 50% Sleep
- Mostly outpatient clinic work at Geisinger Jersey Shore and Muncy but there could be periodic consults/visits in the hospital, at Jersey Shore Hospital.
- Monday-Friday, typical clinic hours and no call
- Participate in educational programs for patients with chronic lung disease
- Employ complex education strategies and interventions to promote, maintain and improve health and prevent illness and injury
- Collaborate with other health care professionals to identify and resolve patient care issues
