Job Summary

Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking a board eligible or board-certified internal medicine or family medicine candidates.  Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is Mifflin County’s most complete community health system, offering many services that are not available anywhere else locally. Work Schedule/Shift:  Night Shift (7 pm - 7 am). 7 days on / 7 days off block. Moonlighting Opportunities available.

Other Details:

GLH Hospital has 123 accredited beds. ICU is open and no procedures are required.  Patient Census: 14 patients per day

Job Duties:

Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories. Performs and/or interprets diagnostic tests as needed. Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illness. May prescribe or administer medications. Prepares, maintains, and reviews records that include patients' histories, examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes.

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
