Geisinger Rheumatology boasts a flexible schedule with minimal call/consults as well as interaction with the system wide, Academic Rheumatology Department through fellow conference, journal club, and grand rounds via teleconference.

The Rheumatology Department in State College includes 2 physicians and a nurse practitioner. The department is based in our State College office (Patton Forest), but also performs outreach services to nearby Geisinger Groups including Lewistown, Philipsburg and Huntingdon.

Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient and inpatient care for patients with rheumatologic diseases.
Manage a diverse case mix including vasculitis, connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis, and metabolic bone disease.
Conduct telehealth and in-person visits.
Participate in teaching and research activities, including clinical trials.
Qualifications:
Board Eligible (BE) and Board Certified (BC) within 4 years of starting employment.
New graduates and seasoned providers are welcome.
Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
We are not accepting J1 visas at this time.
