Job Summary

Geisinger’s Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join the growing practice at Geisinger Community Medical Center in historic Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties

Scranton or the “Electric City” as it is referred to, offers a rich heritage, and has had a significant impact on pop culture.  The region is steeped in history, visit the Steamtown National Historic Site and the Electric City Trolley Station.  Enjoy the aquarium, art galleries, universities, festivals, Broadway shows, world famous musical acts at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain and diverse dining experiences. 

Outdoor activities are abundant with nearby Ricketts Glen State Park, and Lake Scranton for your water recreation, and hiking/biking trails and Montage Mountain Ski Resort and Water Park.  Catch a sporting event, with the Triple A New York Yankees baseball team the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Railriders.

Conveniently located, Scranton offers the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport with service around the world and easy access to Interstate-81 for weekend getaways to New York City, Washington, DC; Philadelphia, New Jersey and Baltimore, MD.
