Application Developer IV (Salesforce)
Job Summary
Reviews, analyzes, modifies, creates, debugs, designs, and tests applications using modern development methodologies and tools. Provides key insight in design and application architecture discussions. A key player on a multidisciplinary team and will engage in all aspects of the application development life cycle as needed for each project to be successful. This posting reflects an opening for an Application Developer IV and we are seeking candidates for that position. Job Duties
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications.
- Responsible for the process, life cycle and creation of the software to assist users in completing a computer task or program.
- Implements code and documents all system changes based on assignments and timelines.
- Develops and follows department coding and user interface guidelines.
- Testing, debugging, technical documentation, general testing instructions, go-live planning, assistance in go-live moves, and post-live support.
- Communicates all progress, roadblocks, and issues to the team and management in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with team members to identify and resolve issues, improve system performance, and ensure code quality.
- Provides training and documentation to team members on new development assignments.
- Assists in the development and documentation of a technical approach for a solution to the team stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Conducting code reviews and unit testing.
- Mentoring and training junior developers.

Position Details
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and Object-oriented programming
- Experience with a variety of Salesforce development tools and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Salesforce CRM app development with strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Health Cloud and Experience cloud at an enterprise level of complexity.
- Expert understanding of Salesforce security model and best practices
- Experience with Lightning Components, Design System, APEX Classes, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, Aura, and Flow.
- Experience with SFDX, environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk)
Desired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development
- Experience with Salesforce Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics) and Vlocity Omnistudio product suit implementation experience (Industry cloud)
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
- Healthcare, especially Health insurance (Payor) business domain knowledge is an immense value add
- Experience with Managed package and unlocked package development
