Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to work as locum providers to fill per diem needs in our system’s emergency departments*. We have a variety of high-acuity tertiary care centers and small community hospitals with open shifts, support, and resources to allow you to do what you do best – provide exceptional care.

Job Duties

Cut out the “middleman” by working directly with us but get all the same great benefits you would with an agency:

  • Rate: $270/hr.

  • Coordinated & paid travel and lodging

  • Blocked shifts

  • Unmatched medical malpractice ($100 million of coverage available) with tail

  • Embedded, multi-disciplinary team of care managers and clinical pharmacists to create a holistic, streamlined process from triage to discharge

  • EMR - Epic

  • Current and former leaders in ACEP, PACEP, ABEM, EMS, Research, and Education
