Improvement Optimization Advisor Associate
Job Summary
Facilitates multidisciplinary improvement teams, gathers data, research, analytics and best practice information, and provides project management for operational and clinical staff to achieve positive strategic and tactical project results, efforts are typically focused within a more limited scope with regards to departments involved and reach of the project, to achieve improved patient experience, safety, staff satisfaction, quality, timeliness and efficiency improvement while achieving a favorable value.
Job Duties
- Consistently achieves project outcomes at target goals and reaches stretch goals frequently through consistent follow-through, creative problem solving, removing barriers and tenacious focus on results.
- Hardwires process improvements and embeds process and outcome metrics in improvement initiatives that: draw data electronically from clinical and administrative records, are presented in easy to understand graphic format, and have sufficient detail to identify specific sources of actionable opportunity.
- Analyzes and identifies opportunities in clinical, operational and financial processes.
- Streamlines clinical, operational and financial processes and workflows to drive efficiency.
- Assesses the stakeholder environment and works with project sponsors and leaders to build the support and will to address improvement opportunities among staff, providers and leaders, e.g. RACI tool.
- Develops relationships to achieve important change with staff, providers and leaders.
- Facilitates multidisciplinary project teams and is able to support accountable leaders in managing project teams.
- Uses analytic, experiential and subjective assessment skills to identify substantial performance improvement opportunities within assigned projects.
- Identifies and applies relevant best practice improvement tools and solutions from prior training and experience, internal best practices, literature and external research and applies them to current projects; innovates on selective components of best practice approaches.
- Collaborates with others to utilize expertise from multiple sources, including external to the project team.
- Documents work products and methodologies to enable analysis and knowledge transfer.
- Continuously seeks to improve personal performance through managing biannually updated development plan.

Hours: 8:00 am. - 4:30 p.m.
