Manager Marketing
Job Summary
Responsible for all related aspects of strategic marketing; planning, strategizing, directing and executing for assigned specific areas and initiatives, inclusive of strategic plan communications, employee and provider engagement and other leadership communications, and miscellaneous operational areas.
Job Duties
- Supports and collaborates with the entire Marketing and Communications team in the development and implementation of innovative and strategic brand and marketing plans designed to support Geisinger’s strategic plan and goals.
- Plans, develops and implements innovative strategies and solutions, budgets and programs designed to support Geisinger Health Plan's audiences, strategy, operational and miscellaneous goals.
- Gathers and interprets primary data accumulated through campaigns, surveys and other intelligence collection, interviews, experience, personal relationships, employee forums, focus groups, surveys, etc. that enable leadership to make informed decisions.
- Analyzes and prepares reports for use in the internal communications planning process.
- Ensure campaigns, plans and messaging are designed to increase awareness and understanding among audiences on a variety of organizational priorities and initiatives.
- Maintains quality and brand standards.
- Ensures that programs capitalize on the integrated nature of the overall Marketing and Communications department.
- Engages and educates department colleagues so that all activities make the best use of colleagues’ talents, tools and expertise.
- In partnership with direct supervisor and other departmental, hospital/Institute and system leaders, identifies and effectively communicates strategic opportunities or threats in a timely and credible manner, and assists in developing proactive and reactive strategic internal communications on system issues and activities.
- Tracks and reports return on investment.
- Metrics might include: enhanced perception on the part of employees, higher employee engagement scores in annual surveys, increased number of intranet hits, increased interactivity with digital communications, higher attendance at forums/employee events, higher rates of enrollment in organizational programs.
- Generates innovative solutions and ideas that support Geisinger’s mission.
- Leads specific, department-wide initiatives that contribute to the success of Marketing and Communications but may not be directly related to his/her day-to-day areas of responsibility.
- Supports the management of external vendors: advertising/PR agencies, consultants, media planning and placement agencies, strategic communications experts, information services vendors, printers, mail houses, videographers, photographers, etc.
- Works collaboratively, and communicates effectively with direct reports, colleagues and supervisors.
- Fosters a spirit of teamwork and shared success.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Details
Manager,, Retention and referrals will work with Physician Liaisons to support referral growth and ensure a smooth process for key service lines.
Assist physician recruitment efforts by creating materials and messaging that highlight Geisinger as an attractive place to practice.
Promote Geisinger providers as trusted experts and enhance patient communications to improve engagement and retention.
Education
Bachelor's Degree- (Required)Experience
