Job Summary

Responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of a marketing regulatory compliance program and plan for government lines of business specifically as it relates to CMS Marketing & Communications guidelines, and federal and state regulatory guidelines that impact marketing & communication initiatives. Serves as marketing compliance SME and ad-hoc team member of Geisinger Health Plan Compliance Department. Coordinates all marketing responses and needs to internal compliance, government programs and legal as needed.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates the development of and oversees the implementation and maintenance of a compliance program and plan for marketing & communications department.
  • Interfaces with any and all departments to coordinate 100% compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates the development of and oversees the implementation and maintenance of a regulatory compliance education plan for the marketing & communications department and its agencies of record.
  • Coordinates the development of and oversees the implementation and maintenance of an auditing and review process of growth and member communication pieces are in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Coordinates the development of and oversees the implementation and maintenance of an investigation and remediation process to ensure prompt response to, and investigation of, any Marketing action inconsistent with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures coordination between the regulatory compliance plans and accreditation compliance plans.
  • Monitors departments' compliance with applicable state and federal regulatory requirements regarding record retention.
  • Participates in the creative review of all marketing materials to ensure compliance & legal requirements are met before submission to regulatory bodies.

Education

Bachelor's Degree- (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Business Administration/Management (Preferred)

Experience

Minimum of 5 years-Related work experience (Required)
