Strategy Analyst
Job Summary
Strategy Analyst works with SMA leadership and consultants to provide analytical support on various strategy and planning which have impact across Geisinger. The analyst works in a team-based environment and is the analytics lead on strategic projects that support growth. The Strategy Analyst provides analytical and strategic thinking in order to: identify business issues, design and execute analysis for studying business issues (market research, scenario planning, forecasting, market share, market trend analysis, develop recommendations for senior level leadership with Geisinger Regions and Institutes.
Job Duties
- Utilize internal and external data sources
- Data analytics and modeling utilizing retrospective and forecasted data
- Provides data analysis and insights for master facility planning, service planning, and CORE Business plans
- Market analysis to evaluate environment and competitive landscape
- Historical and projected demand for services such as: demographics, volumes, service lines, and procedures
- Supply and Demand modeling
- Relevant trend analysis important to stakeholders
- Routine data maintenance that is utilized for analyses across the Geisinger enterprise including the health system, hospitals, facilities, institutes, Geisinger Health Plan, and Business Development
- Develop and deliver presentations that interpret data and market insights and implications for executive leadership in order to allow strategic decision-making and that identify business issues and opportunities
