Supervisor Revenue Management (work from home Mid-Atlantic Region US)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hospital Billing Supervisor to lead a remote team of billing specialists. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Epic Resolute and a strong background in hospital billing operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily billing activities, ensuring compliance with payer requirements, and driving performance in a remote work environment.
Job Duties
This position supervises and implements programs to ensure efficient operations of Geisinger are in order to generate patient satisfaction and sufficient cash flow to support operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include overseeing, collecting, adjudicating, identifying, analyzing, reducing, and resolving various physician and patient service issues.
- Exercises supervision over employees measuring results to ensure proper utilization of labor resources.
- Reviews report data in order to measure employee and section performance to ensure that organizational goals and objectives are achieved.
- Reviews employee schedules in order to ensure proper coverage.
- Responsible for training, development, discipline, and conducting the performance appraisal of employees.
- Assists in maintaining and meeting budget targets.
- Reviews and recommends process improvement for individual and department workflow.
- Reviews and updates departmental policies and procedures, in conjunction with workflow changes.
- Provides written weekly status reports to leadership.
- Researches and reports problems to Help Desk and follow-up with IT personnel as appropriate per policy.
- Responds to physician and department heads regarding revenue and charging procedures.

Must be able to attend on-site training in Bloomsburg, PA as needed
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with remote workforce tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, remote desktop systems).
- Knowledge of denial management and AR follow-up strategies.
- Certification in Epic Resolute or HFMA/CRCR is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of hospital billing experience, with experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proficiency in Epic Resolute is required.
- Strong understanding of hospital billing regulations, payer guidelines, and revenue cycle best practices.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate remote teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
