Vascular Technologist II USW
Job Summary
Demonstrates the ability and knowledge to independently perform and evaluate diagnostic images within established time frames with accuracy. Functions as a coordinator , facilitator, and provider of diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities include assessment, planning and implementation of patients care, proper utilization of equipment and participation in quality assurance programs as requested. The technologist provides for privacy and confidentiality. Responsible for education of the patient, family, and other staff is a major focus of this professional.
Job Duties
- Consistently performs all test procedures independently on assigned equipment according to department specifications.
- Performs diagnostic testing and provides patient care for patients of all age groups ranging from pediatrics through geriatric ages.
- Performs additional departmental assignments, completes and reports back to the supervisor in agreed upon time frame.
