Job Duties

Join our team in our Northeast (Scranton) Region. The GI hospitalist position will offer support to our growing teams in these areas.  Enjoy the flexibility and great work/life balance of a 7on/7 off schedule with all the support of a well-established, stable team of Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists, and Advanced Practitioners.

At Geisinger, our Gastroenterologists:

·       Fully integrate with our robust electronic health record (EPIC) and ProvationMD.

·       Work closely with mature multi-disciplinary teams.

·       GI Hospitalists focus on acute care gastroenterology with minimal outpatient procedures

·       No outpatient clinic responsibility

·       Dedicated PA/NP support

·       All procedures supported by CRNA

·       Opportunities for teaching and research if desired.

·       Part of a large integrated health network

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
